I have once again found inspiration for another short. So look for “In the Suck” on Google docs in a few days. How ever I thanked you folks in my blog today. Here it is: http://remakingme-atiyatownes.blogspot.com/ and yes I fixed the font for those who said the type was too small. Honestly I really didn’t feel like looking for glasses to read…[Read more]

Buck posted an update in the group The Crew 9 hours, 53 minutes ago Doug, what are your plans with respect to video and the issues? After my college semester ends (May 2012), I could provide video promotional reviews of some stories.

Joe Russell posted an update in the group New Members 11 hours, 41 minutes ago Hello all. I’ve been a subscriber to e-fiction for a while and thought I might submit something. I had no idea what an interesting community there was behind the magazine. I am really looking forward to it.

I don’t think we’ve published any Lovecraftian fiction yet.

Randy Attwood posted an update in the group Writers 1 day, 1 hour ago On Amazon there are 23,403 vampire titles and 10,085 zombie titles. Wakee, wakee zombie writers.

I’m sick to death of vampires and zombies (pun intended.) Those poor wights and ghasts….they never get any love.

On the day she was to die, Vadoma Taits awoke to pale morning light. Annoyed it was past sunrise, she chided herself for such laziness. Every minute of the day needed to be savored—not […]

Marc posted an update in the group New Members 1 day, 12 hours ago I found this site through a google search. Looks pretty cool. I will need to dust off some of the stories I have lurking about on my hard drive and see if I can fit them in somewhere here.

Atiya
But you feel better though?

Lisa Vandiver
Yes, thanks, I do.

Doug Lance
Oh no! Hope you’re feeling better! Did you catch the flu that’s been going around?
-
Lisa Vandiver
It is a mixture of sinus plus severe colds. I don’t think it’s the flu. My daughter and I were unknowingly exposed to mold, and have hard times of it during the winter months. Weird, I know, thanks for concern:)

Kyle Dameron posted an update in the group New Members 2 days, 1 hour ago Hello folks, I’ve wandered this way due to Reddit and look forward to seeing what’s going on in this little section of the internet. I’m from Springfield, Missouri and fancy myself a horror writer, with my biggest dream being becoming known as a Master of the Macabre. But I’d be satisfied just knowing that there are people out there reading my…[Read more]

Co-op publishers are great, though I’d be a little suspect of the quality of the final product. It is my goal to find a great team of full-time editors, designers, and marketers for eFiction (maybe next year if the projections for growth stay on track), and start producing books in-house, where writers maintain full royalties after the…[Read more]

That’s food for thought. The industry is definitely changing fast on all fronts. Makes you wonder what the landscape will look like in another five or ten years. Thanks for the interesting post.

Great post. I’d be interested in what you find out. Hey, how about an eFiction co-op?

I think those thoughts are currently being thunken. But I may be thinking otherwise. I think.

The great thing about epublishing is that you can get a gauge if your work is really connecting with people you don’t know from Adam and investment in publishing as you mention it is worth the gamble. We writers tend to be self-delusional about our works. Outside validation is so rewarding. Finding that reader who connects. It’s what it’s all…[Read more]

There’s plans in the works to take eFiction fully multimedia with videos and audio recordings of the stories packaged up for tablets. Its maybe a year away, but definitely going to happen.
